Father’s Day Picnic
June 26th, 2011 by stmarks EnglishLast Sunday June 19, 2011 was our Annual Father’s Day Picnic. We had wonderful weather and a wonderful group of people who worked so hard to plan, prepare and clean up! Thank you to everyone who worked so hard and helped! Thank you to all who came out to support us! The food was plenty and delicious! If anyone by chance took pictures and are willing to share them please contact the church. It is never too soon to think about next year, so if anyone is interested in Chairing or Co-Chairing the picnic next year please contact our Social Delegate Anita or any other member of Parish Council. You will have plenty of support. It is always nice to have new and different people step up and help out!
The Oscar for “Best Lunch” Goes To…..
February 27th, 2011 by stmarks EnglishSunday February 27, 2011 found St. Marks filled with the delicious aromas of lule kebab and sou boureg. About 80 people came to church to feed their souls and stayed to feed their bellies with a delicious lunch. It was wonderful to see people sit, share a meal and enjoy each other’s company. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to set up, prepare, cook, serve and clean up. A special thank you to Shake Minasian for her famous sou boureg. Last, but not least, THANK YOU to everyone who came and supported the church.
