Last Sunday June 19, 2011 was our Annual Father’s Day Picnic. We had wonderful weather and a wonderful group of people who worked so hard to plan, prepare and clean up! Thank you to everyone who worked so hard and helped! Thank you to all who came out to support us! The food was plenty and delicious! If anyone by chance took pictures and are willing to share them please contact the church. It is never too soon to think about next year, so if anyone is interested in Chairing or Co-Chairing the picnic next year please contact our Social Delegate Anita or any other member of Parish Council. You will have plenty of support. It is always nice to have new and different people step up and help out!

Sunday February 27, 2011 found St. Marks filled with the delicious aromas of lule kebab and sou boureg.   About 80 people came to church to feed their souls and stayed to feed their bellies with a delicious lunch.  It was wonderful to see people sit, share a meal and enjoy each other’s company.  Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to set up, prepare, cook, serve and clean up.  A special thank you to Shake Minasian  for her famous sou boureg.  Last, but not least, THANK YOU to everyone who came and supported the church.

On Saturday January 29, 2011 St. Marks church hall was filled with the delicious aroma of roast beef and the joyous sounds of friends and family having  fun!  About 90 people came out to enjoy the all you can eat roast beef, drinks and desserts.  People had a chance to sit and relax and reconnect with each other.  The children played games and watched movies on the new tv.  There was even a raffle of beautiful baskets created and donated by Terry and Patrick Dempsey.  Thank you to everyone who donated money and most especially their time to make this evening a success.  A special Thank You to Aram and Linda Bohdjelian for sponsoring the event.  It was a great way to kick off the new year of events!  Look for pictures from Family Night coming soon.
